This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a teacher in a Title I school, I face many challenges to help my students succeed. However, each student that enters my classroom has such a love of learning and desire to be successful.

These incredible little learners are authors, readers, and thinkers.

Your donation will help these little minds access resources and technology to improve their learning on a daily basis. Each student comes in with different backgrounds, interests, and language abilities. Meeting their individual needs is my goal. Your generosity will help my students and I reach new goals.

My Project

Blending of hands-on manipulatives and technology is the goal of this project. My students are active thinkers that have mastered using the iPads for creative projects, accessing more reading materials, and more. However, I am always looking at ways to blend technology and classic hands on activities. Osmo is an innovative and engaging way to achieve just that.

Using the iPad with the Osmo will allow my students to use hands-on materials to gain new skills.

This will be the perfect word building station during literacy stations. In addition, students can also engage critical thinking and problem solving skills with the other activities included, such as tangrams. These materials will help students actively engage their minds along with hands-on materials.
