This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Transitional Kindergarten/Kindergarten Special Day Class is filled with curious, energetic learners who benefit from interactive materials that match their sensory and academic needs. Many of my students have learning differences, and traditional classroom tools aren’t always the best fit. That’s where busy books and Montessori-style books come in.

These resources promote fine motor skills, problem-solving, and early academic concepts like numbers, letters, and shapes.

They also provide structure and calm during transition times or independent learning. Montessori books are especially helpful for fostering self-directed growth and building confidence in young learners.

With your support, we can provide engaging, purposeful learning experiences that allow every student to thrive at their own pace and in their own way. These tools will make a lasting difference in our classroom and in the lives of children who need a little extra support.
