This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work at a school with a lot of diversity, racial diversity as well as diverse learners. I want to build my library to include diverse books, and materials that foster creativity and learning for all children. I want all of my students to feel represented in the literature that we read, and want to provide them with increased hands on learning experiences to enhance their language development. The sensory bins will be perfect for creating language opportunities during high interest activity, movement, and sensory exploration. High interest activities facilitate language development and communication.
