My Students
I have seventy-six diverse third grade learners. My students show a great amount of enthusiasm for learning. They are particularly interested in EVERYTHING and technology right now! Their excitement for learning is exhibited daily, as is their support for their peers.
Seeing my students continue to grow in their learning is amazing!
We are in a mostly low-income/high-poverty school district, with many of my students facing several challenges both in and out of the classroom. We strive to make school an enjoyable experience where all students feel safe and engaged. As their teacher, I aim to foster their curiosity and love of learning. We appreciate donations as well as any positive thoughts you send our way!
My Project
These hand2mind tiles will benefit my students by providing hands-on self-correcting activities. This is especially important in the classroom because it allows students to engage in kinesthetic learning. It allows students to experiment with trial and error, learn from their mistakes, and aid teachers in understanding the potential gaps between theory and practice.
Based on current learning gaps due to COVID-19, these tiles will allow my students to have skill-based activities that are aligned to state standards, so the work is not filling time, but working on gaps in learning.
