My Project
The items requested would make a major difference in my students learning! Items including magnetic wands, magnetic chips, letter clips, and reading essentials will give my students engaging tools to use during phonics instruction while we work on the core skills of segmenting and blending sounds!
The seasonal erasers will be used to make seasonal classroom work feel magical as we will use them as counters and manipulatives for math instruction and independent center work.
Items such as the number clips will be used for independent student tasks including skill areas such as number recognition and sequencing.
All of these materials will help to make our core skill instruction much more engaging and exciting for my special education students. With my classroom population, keeping all learning opportunities hands-on is essential for maintaining engagement. My students and I are looking forward to an amazing school year, and I can't wait to see the endless learning possibilities that could come from these additional materials.
