This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a special education teacher I have the privilege of working with unique learners. Every year as a new group of kindergartners enter school, I need to find ways to best meet their individual needs so they can begin their school career successfully. Both my kindergarteners and first graders benefit from hands on multi-sensory learning activities. Play-based learning is the most engaging and age-appropriate for my students. My students also benefit from many visuals (i.e. social stories, first/then boards, etc.) Any donations will help me to meet my students needs.
