My Students
My classroom is full of inquisitive, eager minds ready to learn and grow. As the COVID-19 pandemic is continually changing the norm of schools and classrooms, it is becoming increasingly more difficult for students to participate in hands-on inquiry.
Scientific discovery does not end when hands on activities are challenged.
Students deserve an opportunity to participate in these scientific discoveries safely by not having to spread and share materials.
My Project
As we adopt the new SEEd Utah Science Standards, it is vital that students get a hands on learning experience. Through inquiry and engagement students will be able to successfully think like scientist, discovering the reality of natural phenomena.
Using Merge Cubes, my students will be able to look at different natural phenomena in the palms of their hands.
With virtual, distant learning on the horizon, these Merge Cubes will allow students to take the hands-on materials home and engage in inquiry both through virtual reality and augmented reality.
