My Students
I will be teaching first grade this year. I have not had the pleasure of meeting my students yet, but we will be meeting in just a few short weeks! My hope is to equip my classroom with everything that it needs to be conducive to all types of learners. Flexible seating and hands-on learning are just a few things that I would like to include in my classroom this year. Also, I'd like our room to be safe and inviting for students to learn.
My Project
I would like to provide my students with hands on learning during our science and flex periods. Engaging students at the end of the day can be difficult. With help from hands on learning materials, students will be more excited about science, engineering, and technology!
These fun materials seem like just a game to the students but they are learning so many valuable skills and lessons.
I plan to share these materials with my other first grade teammates. These materials will help many children for many years to come!
I can't wait to incorporate these items into my classroom.
