Hands On Learning Fun

Help me give my students some social emotional learning fun to provide them with some practice in getting along together.

My Project

Kindergarten is a blast and this year is no exception but we have noticed that the pandemic's effects are still going strong despite the fact that our kinder kiddo's were only 2 years old at the start of COVID. Whether it's because they missed out on preschool as result of COVID or that they have not had the social interactions and opportunities that other kids have had prior to the past few years due to COVID. No matter the reason, the social emotional deficit is clear to many kindergarten teachers. I will be using the resources that I am requesting to provide my kids with some hands on practice in small groups. They will learn and grow from playing cooperative games. I am requesting fidget tools to address their sensory needs. I would like to use the foam balls on my list to play large and small group games. I have also asked for cello bags, glitter pens, sequins, foam pieces, gems, glass pieces to provide my kids with the opportunity to express themselves positively through art work. My goal is to build team work and cooperatives skills to address loss of SEL during the COVID pandemic.
