My Project

Welcome to my first DonorsChoose project! I truly appreciate you taking the time to explore this. In kindergarten, my students are developing crucial foundational skills that they'll build upon throughout the year. It's vital for them to have opportunities to apply these skills, whether working independently or collaborating with a partner.

In this project, I've selected purposeful materials that align with our standards.

The dry erase number line boards, 1-100 mats, 10-frame pop-its, dice, and sorting counters will be used in both whole group lessons and independent exploration. These versatile tools support a variety of activities—whether we're adding, subtracting, counting on from a specific number, counting objects, or grouping them—providing countless opportunities for learning!

The remaining items, including the sorting centers, geometric puzzles, shape pattern blocks, and balance scale, will primarily be used in small group settings or for independent exploration. I've also included two science activity trays focused on plants and living things, as they complement our science curriculum while incorporating important math skills.
