Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This will be my first year teaching Kindergarten, and I'm so excited to make my classroom a safe and fun place for my students to engage in hands-on learning! Since it's my first year, I don't have many resources to support my students. Your donations will help provide students with a learning environment where they will have the resources they need to learn and have fun while doing so!
My goal is to provide my students with manipulatives and learning games that will engage them in meaningful learning.
Kindergarteners learn through play, and I have carefully selected resources that will support the skills that they will need as we set the foundation for reading, writing, and math. I have chosen games that will reinforce letter names, letter formation, and sounds, as well as games that support identifying numbers and counting. These are all such important skills that students can build on while using the resources I selected!
I also chose games such as blocks, community block play people, shapes, puzzles, and sorting boards to provide students with brain breaks while stimulating their young minds!
