This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love teaching Kindergarten at BES! The magic of Kindergarten is that you get to see kids go from recognizing maybe a few letters at the beginning of the year to being readers by the end. Their growth is truly amazing!
Learning really clicks when there is some kind of hands-on component.
In kindergarten, this looks like using playdough to build letters and sounds or as concrete math manipulative. The paint I am requesting will enhance art projects that teach kids important skills like step-by-step direction following and creating a joyful classroom environment.
