My Students
Watch minds grow! Watch hearts become full of a love for learning! Watch students' faces shine with excitement! That is what teaching is about!
I want to make learning fun, rigorous, creative, and worldly for all of my students.
I teach in a Title I school where 80% of the student population receives free or reduced lunches. Most of my students speak other languages and are learning English in the classroom. My students love to learn through hands-on activities! My kindergarten students are creative and love to explore.
My Project
I want to promote language, collaboration, creativity, and a love for learning in my kindergarten classroom!
My students love to learn through art and hands-on activities!
Half of my students are learning to speak English, so by implementing a puppet center my students will have chances to learn English and communicate with puppets. We will use our puppets to promote retelling of stories and to put on shows to entertain each other!
My students express their interests, personality, and ideas through art. We would love art trays to keep our art safe while it drys in the classroom. My young learners have a natural creativity that I want to promote each day!
Lastly, my students enjoy science and building! The magnifying glasses will be set up for a daily science center. Students will look at many objects with them. Also, we would love to build our alphabet letters to help us remember how to form each letter and practice the name and sound of each letter.
