My Project
Most of my students have never been to school before. Having these activities will help develop their fine motor skills and also help work on their social-emotional skills and development. Using the light table will also help them have a differentiated center where it is not all pencil and paper work.
Having these activities in the classroom can help students build more fine motor skills and develop their writing processes. COVID-19 has impacted a lot of these students by not even allowing them to go to daycare or school before.
The materials I have selected will help my students by giving them hands-on fine motor skills activities directly in class. Also having the light table used for centers will be an exciting way to practice the alphabet and numbers. We can use it for so many different things!
