My Project
I am hoping to get some new items for my kindergarten classroom to enhance student learning. I strive to make learning fun and these items can bring more life into my centers. The light up sand trays and Alpha-Sketch Light up will be used for ELA centers in my class for the students to work on writing letters, sight words and also work on their fine motor skills, all of which are very important in kindergarten. Not only will it enhance their learning, but also make learning fun. The wicky stick alphabet cards will also be used for small group centers to work on small motor and learning their letters. The sight word activity chest will be used for a center when we begin to introduce sight words to our class. This will be a fun, independent way for the students to learn their sight words so they can become great readers! The ice cream play station will be added to our real life center where our students work on their social emotional learning and play store with each other. This is a good way for them to learn interpersonal skills among other things. The dot markers will be used for centers and for art projects.
