Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have a mixed-ability class. Learning centers are great to differentiate learning and allows me dedicate more time to those kids who are struggling a little bit more. It also fosters students' independence, decision-making, confidence, responsibility, and much more.
My students are 2nd graders and are full of curiosity and playfulness .
They LOVE when we do learning centers. They get all excited! They see it as playing time, but they are actually learning and practicing sooo many skills. I know they will enjoy the learning materials I picked and more importantly I know they will benefit from it.
