My students need the Discovery Center to bring a "museum to go" to our school for the science fair.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Bencic's classroom raised $280
This project is fully funded
My Students
The Science Fair is a day that every single student in our school anticipates. Only last year did we begin offering hands-on activities in the gym to add to the festivities. We really need your help to make this happen again this year!
This project will benefit our ENTIRE school!
We are a K-8 school with approximately 75% of our students living in economically disadvantaged homes. Even though our school is small (only 125 students!), our faculty, staff, students, and parents work hard to make it a place where kids want to be! I think that says so much for our school!
My Project
The "museum to go" will be enjoyed for all of our students K-8 as well as many of our students' family members who will attend as well. The activities will be centered around learning about different animals. The museum will bring animal like birds, snakes, rabbits, salamanders, frogs, opossum, and more. There will also be some activities for the students to complete. The museum gave our school a significant price quote because we are a low-income school, but we have to raise funds for the remainder. I hope you can help!
Thanks so much for considering this project.
Several teachers are working on this upcoming event, and it is our goal to make this a "real" science fair. A local community member has even donated trophies and ribbons for the occasion! This is starting to look like a real science fair! I really can't wait to see the kids' faces! Days like this make me so proud to have chosen education as my career! Thanks for caring about education! People like you really do change the world.
