My Students
The love of learning begins at a very early age! My classroom is full of very active little learners. Our children attend a Title I school that is located in an urban, high-poverty community, where 96% of the students are economically disadvantaged.
The majority of my students are either homeless or come from single-parent homes, which causes them to have limited access to everyday learning materials.
It is hurtful to say that so many of them have been through much more in their short 3-5 years than any of us could ever imagine. Even with that being said, they somehow find a way to come to school every day eager and ready to learn.
My Project
Daily my children show up eager to receive new information as they express their hunger to learn about innovative and interesting topics. The project I created was designed to enhance 20 bouncy bodies with the knowledge, as well as give them an opportunity to explore with their own stem resources in the safety of their homes. With your help my students will get the quality education they deserve in this stem driven society. They will be exposed to necessary tools, activities, and materials to better their chances for success in today's society.
