My Project

I am lucky enough to teach resource students in grades 1st, 3rd, and 5th. Hands-on learning is very effective for students with disabilities...not to mention making it way more fun to learn. Magnetic letter trays and word games can bring excitement and success when it comes to learning how to read, write, and spell.

Incentives play a vital role in my teaching.

My students are only in my classroom for short periods of time. I have to make the most of the time and find that fun incentives help keep behavior problems at a minimum, which leaves more time for learning.
