Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom is in need of several key resources to enhance both learning and daily activities for our students. First, we are requesting a wooden step stool, which will help our younger learners safely access materials in high places like bookshelves or the sink for handwashing. This will promote independence and build confidence in daily routines.

We also need magnetic letters and trays as part of a phonics set designed to help small groups of students work on word-building activities, improving their reading and phonemic awareness skills through hands-on engagement.

In addition, transparent spinners will be used to create customizable math games and interactive activities, helping make learning math more fun and engaging.

To support our creative projects, we are asking for bright white cardstock, a durable paper that will allow us to make high-quality student work displays, classroom signage, and various art projects. To keep our materials organized, we need **waterproof mesh document pouches** that will be perfect for storing student work, craft supplies, and important classroom documents.

Finally, to encourage physical activity and teamwork, we are requesting an extra-large mesh sports ball bag to store and transport sports equipment for recess, PE, and outdoor play. This will ensure we have a tidy, organized way to manage all of our sports gear. Your support will provide us with the tools we need to create a more organized, engaging, and enriching classroom environment for our students.
