My students need books to provide research and hands-on projects of Ancient Civilizations, and a small refrigerator and convection toaster to create a small kitchen in the classroom to develop practical life skills.
My students are bright, observant, self-reliant, independent, hard working, enthusiastic, creative, and determined children.
They are Montessori students that are guided to develop emotionally, physically, spiritually, and intellectually in a community through self-discovery, self-reliance, and hands-on learning.
They are inspired to lead the class through compassion, courtesy, and peacefulness. It is not uncommon to find the students leading the class in daily routines and transitions. Their independence motivates them to be self-assured and supportive.
My students are simply extraordinary, confident, kind, and marvelous human beings.
My Project
"Montessori is a hands-on approach to learning. It encourages children to develop their observation skills through activities that use the five senses, kinetic movement, spatial refinement, small and gross motor skill coordination, and concrete knowledge that leads to later abstraction."
The DK Eyewitness books will develop students' academic knowledge of Ancient Civilizations through hands-on learning by creating "artifacts."
The Compact Reversible Single Door Refrigerator and Freezer and Convection Countertop Toaster Oven will aid students to expand practical life skills by cooking and baking. The atlas' will support the study of geography. Kids Gardening Tools will provide the opportunity for more students to work in the garden, together.
