Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students, despite their disabilities, are learning how to help manage their behaviors in the correct way. These students are learning how to communicate effectively and learn daily life skills. Our students are working hard to fight against the prejudice and bias that our society places on them by showing they are able to do all the things with the right tools and encouraging words. The resources and experiences gained through donations will help our students grow into more capable, young men and women.

My Project

Our students this year need loads of hands-on support when it comes to their learning. We are in need of some sight words and math puzzles that help keep our students focused while they are participating in activities. Right now our students have been playing on iPads and completing worksheets but there is nothing like physical manipulatives to help our students retain the lessons.

With your help, our students will grow tremendously in their ability to learn new words and numbers!
