This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My Pre-K students represent diverse backgrounds, experiences, risk factors, and reflect a wide range of special needs. They are tiny learners, ages four and five, who love reading, investigating, exploring, creating, and most of all learning!
They are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners.
They are mini-inspirations to themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet. They are budding artists, engineers, scientists, entrepreneurs, mathematicians, and teachers. They are our future and I want to give them a great start to their long successful careers!
My Project
My pre-k students spend their day learning through play. They are in need of a variety of materials to play with each day during work center periods. With these materials my students can engage in fun and creative age appropriate art and STEM related activities.
These open-ended materials will keep our students engaged with minimal teacher involvement.
Having these materials will build my students independence and encourage them to explore and think creatively! The paint will provide the opportunity for students to explore print making and easel painting each day.
