Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My school is a Title-I school. My students are from low-income families and receive free or reduced cost breakfast and lunch throughout the year. Many of my students come from a Spanish speaking background.
My students are diverse, eager learners who are seeking to understand their curriculum through multiple approaches - texts, technology, and more.
Their learning should be organic and also embedded in real life experiences. The tools we have chosen together will help this to become a reality.

Having access to different learning centers will enable students to learn to their specific needs.
I have asked for different literacy centers that will help the students read better and identify specific word families. I have asked for centers that would be able to be used throughout the school years geared for different reading levels as well.
