My Students
I teach in the School District of Philadelphia. I have been teaching sixth grade for many years in the community and I love every moment of it. My students are compassionate and they love to read. In addition, they are fun to be around and curious.
Whether at school or at home, when it comes to education we try hard to Be Responsible, Be Prepared, and Be Respectful.
While we are teaching online and students are learning from home, I want us to all be successful on this journey.
My Project
My students will learn and reinforce academic material through ELA Learning Games such as learning root words, inferencing, elements of literary, and many many more. These skills are vital for elementary and middle school students. The games are for grades 3-6. The reason I have chosen grades 3-6 is because most of my students are two grades below grade level. Learning through experience, fun, and interactions is the key to promoting enthusiasm toward education. It is important for the students to practice, learn, and reinforce through these highly engaging learning ELA Games.
