My Students

I teach first graders at a school in Utah. First graders are the best of the best. They are kind, and including, and excited to be at school. They love school! They love learning! This is the age that they build the foundation for the school career.

They are active, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.

They love hands on activities that give them the power to explore and solve problems on their own. Now is the time to show them how their learning can be applied to other areas of their lives.

My Project

First Graders learn best when they can play and have fun while they are learning. Ozobots allow students to code without a computer and will give my students a fun, hands-on introduction to coding. Ozobots allow young students to learn the basics of programming and introduce the 21st Century Skills that are so important to our future leaders.

One tool with so many uses!

Ozobots can easily be incorporated into my language arts and math curriculum. Students will also gain cooperative learning skills. Students will get the opportunity to plan, experiment, fail, re-plan, and persevere with one tiny little tool.
