Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our Pre-K classroom, learning is all about exploration, play, and discovery. My little learners are curious, bright, and full of energy, always eager to try new things. One of the biggest milestones for them is learning their letters and sounds - a foundational skill that sets them on the path to becoming readers. I would like to bring alphabet sounds teaching tubs into our classroom to make this process fun, engaging, and hands-on. Each tub is filled with tiny objects that represent a specific letter and sound, like an apple for "A" or a zebra for "Z". These tubs will allow my students to connect what they hear with what they see and touch, making learning letters so much more exciting! The storage rack will keep everything neat and organized, and it will allow my students to access the materials independently, fostering confidence and responsibility.
