Our charter school is a resource for young students being home-schooled for various reasons including medical conditions, greater personalized learning options, and smaller classroom sizes just to name a few.

Our elementary students are eager learners who are encouraged to explore subjects that excite them, such as, you guessed it, other cultures and places! One of the great opportunities our young students have thru our resource center that they attend once a week is the opportunity to take part in after school electives. One of those electives is my Geography class! They are always so happy to try new foods, see exotic animals, practice other languages... I could go on and on!

My Project

I can't wait to use these awesome resources to open up the whole world to my students. I am excited to introduce them to other countries in far away continents and show them how amazing the world is. These books will help them imagine what other children if far off regions live and help bring those places closing in the minds. The hands on learning will keep their interest and help them answer questions they haven't even thought of yet! Thank you for helping to make this possible for my eager to learn young students!
