My Students
Never did I imagine that when my preschoolers and I said goodbye in March it would mean that it was our last day for us in the classroom. However, the year is not over yet!
My students, their families, and I have been engaging in distance learning daily through SeeSaw.
I am recording lessons at home for them to view and continue to engage in literacy, math, art, and sensory activities. Each week we do a Zoom meeting where the little ones participate in "show and tell" or a song. I am amazed by the families level of engagement and appreciation for the learning ideas that are provided!
My Project
Please help me give my preschool students scissors, glue, markers, construction paper, and workbooks to help them to continue to engage in distant learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Although my preschoolers have had access to online resources engagement in hands on learning activities are necessary for their development.
My classroom has student's from a wide variety of socio-economic backgrounds so for some families these supplies aren't available. I will be collecting the supplies and packing them up to distribute to families to use at home. The school building may be closed but with you, help learning will continue!
