Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I wish to decorate the high walls in my gym with different flags of surrounding colleges and universities in order to give an atmosphere that influences students to desire a higher education!
In order to lessen the stress of thinking about which college to attend, if they desire to do so after high school, local or nearby options should be presented within the classroom setting.
Colleges like Oklahoma State, Oklahoma University, Northeastern State, Texas A&M, and University of Texas will be some of the flags I will be hanging. I will also be hanging up a pride flag to show the inclusiveness of the classroom.
