Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I want to provide different ways to improve our overall fitness skills while having fun. Our students never have regular opportunities to be active while living in the inner city of NYC. My idea is to use the various materials and sporting equipment to create opportunities in recreation that will improve flexibility, muscular strength and endurance, as well as cardiovascular endurance. For this project I am requesting a bundle of supplies that include hula hoops, balls, and jump ropes. I am also requesting a storage cart to store all of this equipment so it is easy to travel to our gym and outdoors to the playground for recess.
