Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project is a project based learning activity for 10th grade high schools students who are taking U.S. Government/Civics (Local, State and National Government) In this activity students are learning about the different forms of government. In this engaging and hands-on activity, students will use gummy bears to create a visual representation of different forms of government. The activity is designed to help students understand the structure and function of various governmental systems through a fun, interactive, and edible medium. Students will be able to identify and describe different forms of government, including democracy, monarchy, dictatorship, and oligarchy, by constructing models using gummy bears and other candy.
The materials provided will give students the resources to build their visual displays and models of the form of government that their group selected.
