My Students
My students are creative and love to learn new things everyday. They are usually as excited as I am to come to school. I love how happy and motivated they are about their education. They always know how to make anyone smile.
My Project
It's our first year being a bilingual campus. For this reason, we don't have many appropriate materials for the children's grade level and for their language needs. I really want to provide my students with a great learning environment that is child-centered, appropriate for their needs and that will spark their interest. Although we need many materials the most important thing we are missing right now which are books for them to read during guided reading. Kindergarten is a very important grade because it builds the foundation for a child's academic success. By having appropriate books in our classroom library the children can engage in their own reading, explore books, and the features of written language. I can also use these the rest of the materials for guided reading and small group instruction.
