My Students
Greetings to all! I am wishing for this project to be granted due to me having to move grade levels next school year. I am in a Title I district and I am coming from Kindergarten to third grade. This will be my first year teaching third grade and in need of resources so that my new and upcoming babies can have a successful and flourishing year! I thank you in advance for all donations and know they are appreciated!
My Project
Being able to provide the students with guided reading books that is on their levels will help with their reading fluency and comprehension. Reading is a high struggle within my district, part of the students being limited to resources. Having the guided reading books in the classroom at their disposal will help in building their reading confidence and advance them in comprehending different types of text (literary and informational). I would like to raise reading comprehension and fluency rate so that they will enjoy reading in the future. Students tend to shut down when they lack understanding and I would love to help them build their confidence.
