My Students
My students are very energetic and always eager to learn. They are 7 years old and are on all different levels. My students are very eager and willing to learn. They are very energetic and love to read. I have thirty students in my classroom, and many students are having difficulties with reading comprehension and fluency. My students need additional support to help them succeed. They are great kids who truly want to become better readers and need a little extra push to get them there.
My Project
Our class needs a space to gather for small group learning. It is important that I meet with small groups to give the students individual attention. It is hard to concentrate when we don't have a dedicated space to meet.
I meet with my students several times a day in small group settings for math, guided reading, guided writing groups.
We need a place to sit comfortably and learn from one another.
It is hard to keep their attention when we have to sit on the rug or at a set of desks because the other students are also working in those spaces. A table would help us have a dedicated space to meet.
