My Project

I strive to help my first-graders become lifelong readers. One way that I would like to do that is by working with them in small group guided reading daily. My students need updated books with bright, engaging pictures to keep them interested and enthusiastic about literacy.

Your donation will help my students be able to read independently at grade level.

My students are so excited when they are able to move up in their reading levels, and high-quality books will help them achieve that goal.

These books would not only help students in school but would allow students to take home books that they have practiced with me in order to foster literacy at home as well!
