Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My ancient, twenty year old kidney table that I used for centers just broke, and flexible seating has been a dream of mine since I started teaching.
I teach in a low income area, with a high Latinx demographic.
Much of what is in my classroom comes out of my own pocket, because I don't think that money should be a barrier to a good education, and that every student, regardless of backgrounds, deserves a safe, comfortable and beautiful learning environment. Fulfilling this project would mean so much to my students. Thank you in advance for your contribution!
