Guided Reading Books

Help me give my students new books to read and develop their reading skills in guided reading groups.

My Students

My happy and kind classroom is full of second graders who have such imaginative and creative sides. They are full of energy and love for others and learning. They are working on developing independence and responsibility in 2nd grade in our room.

I have a great group of students currently in my classroom who come from a variety of life experiences and opportunities.

The majority of my students are on free or reduced-price lunch and breakfast with limited experiences.

My Project

This project focuses on replacing worn out books that have been taped together as well as adding new titles that connect to our units of study.

I would love to introduce the great series of The Boxcar Children with these books.

I currently have one copy that is very popular and has really been lived by my students. This series opens the door for a love of reading. The other two book sets would be used in guided reading which would allow connections to the history aspect of back then, during the pioneer times. Thank you for considering sponsoring 3 sets of books that would be used in guided reading with my students.
