My Students

My students are kind, generous, thoughtful, and inquisitive. They come to school to learn and explore new ideas. They are determined to find an experience. They are beginning to understand the wonderful experience a good education can offer!

I teach in a Title I school where 100% of the school receives free lunch.

My students live in a high poverty area. Access to literacy and supplies are key to their success, and such access begins and ends within our school walls. There are many things they will never be able to experience in real life that, with your help, I can offer. Please help me expose them to as many experiences as possible!

My Project

This project is meant to bring continents into our classroom in a new and exciting way. I would like to give my students another view into people and cultures from the continents we study at the level they are learning at.

Guided adventures into new lands and experiences are what this project will provide.

My students are constantly looking to increase their knowledge base through text.

These guided reading kits and additional nonfiction books will bring 80 new adventures to my students. I will use them to guide my students to deeper depths of understanding with each story.
