My Project
I am a VE teacher at a Title One School. VE stands for varying exceptionalisms, meaning that all of my students have special needs. Having a variety of snacks is crucial to their learning, as I work in small groups where earning an edible snack is a must! I also use snacks to reinforce good behavior, help students stay on task with computer work, and when they obtain a certificate for finishing a lesson. I also provide a snack at the end of the day, so that my kiddos that use school choice and live over 15 miles away will not be starving on their way home.
