This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Learning to read, write, add, and subtract are huge tasks! We expect Kindergartners to do all of this and more by the time they go to first grade. The engaging learning activities will help my students learn the skills needed to be successful students.
I have a delightful group of Kindergarten students!
More than half of my students are second language learners. My students are eager to learn. They love to use hands-on materials and games to gain more knowledge. My students are kind and respectful, so I know they will take good care of their new items.
My Project
My students will be able to identify letters, sight words, rhymes, and numbers through these brightly colored and engaging learning games. These learning games will empower my students to accomplish tasks independently, along with the academic benefit of reinforcing language arts and math skills.
I appreciate the value of state standards but work hard to also find time for social interaction and cooperation in my classroom because these are important life skills as well. The learning games will allow my students to develop sharing, problem solving, and communication skills while focusing on academic state standards.
The Lakeshore learning games are good quality materials, with vivid colors that will capture students attention. The wooden rhyming cards will be good for my tactile learners. The games are durable yet appealing.
The Lakeshore materials will help make learning fun and engaging in my classroom.
They will allow time for socialization, play, and fun, all while reinforcing important academic skills. These materials will make learning enjoyable and inspire kids to continue do so. I believe the games enhance and support learning in addition to encouraging students to get along. It is very important that we help build well rounded individuals.
