it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I’ve had the joy of teaching this same group of students from third through fifth grade, and I’ve watched them grow into thoughtful, curious, and resilient young people. Many come from low-income households and face challenges beyond the classroom, but they show up every day ready to learn.
Providing deodorant and basic hygiene supplies will help them feel more confident, respected, and focused in class.
These resources will support their well-being, self-esteem, and ability to fully engage in learning—because when students feel good, they do better.
