Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will help give our students a classroom library. It will provide space for more genres of reading materials, as our room will support several grade levels. The goal is to provide enough books for each grade level to use in the classroom so they don't have to use the campus library.
Our students are special because they are eager to learn however, they are not able to do so in a traditional classroom setting due to many distractions and/or triggers.
They deserve to have all of their learning materials within arm's reach to ensure a safe learning environment.
I believe this bookshelf will provide a great space for our students to expand their love of reading and give them a sense of adventure.
