Growing Thinkers, Creators, and Well Rounded Kiddos!
Help me give my students materials that meet all their sensory ,fine motors, math and ELA needs! Also materials to help them with social and emotional skills through play!
We are located in St. Louis in an area of poverty, but we are part of a relatively decent size school system. My 15 students are three and four years old coming from various backgrounds. They are learning to be part of a classroom community. They have made many new friends and are gaining valuable educational experiences. For many of my students, this is their first school experience. My students are eager to learn and are very inquisitive. To help them academically I’m requesting a few items that will assist in the learning.
My Project
Students learn hands on and through play. As a teacher I want to provide various hands on ,creative exploration activities that enhances all areas of social, emotional, intellectual and physical. So the items are going to help strengthen their social, emotional and academics. They are going to be excited with the new materials to help accentuate learning in their new classroom!!! The Ipads will help the students with ELA and Math skills while exposing them to technology. The other various items will help the students stay engaged and excited in the centers while helping managing the classroom and organizing their work. The students are excited about their new classroom and the items that might be donated are going to help nurture the students natural instincts to learn and explore while in the classroom!
