We are an alternative high school. Our students have been put out of traditional schools but are determined to do the right thing and get their degree. Our goal is to help our students graduate and obtain meaningful careers. Some of our students will seek college, others military but the vast majority will work in the commercial sector. We offer programs that allow our students to meet regularly with employers. Additionally, in their senior year, our students spend the afternoons working in various local businesses.
My Project
The supplies that I am requesting for my students will grow our Green Team. I am in the process of creating a maker space which will be dedicated to sustainability. We just need your help!
Our Green Team is in its infancy.
Your help would give the student teams planters that they could use to grow their first plants. The students will use the library to learn about how to grow and care for plants. The planters you give would be a place for the students to put their knowledge into action. This is a project which will reach beyond the classroom walls and help encourage lifetime environmentally aware adults Thank you!
