My Project

My students are amazing, hard working, and have a strong desire to learn!

Many students missed important formative reading instruction in grades 1 & 2 due to online learning, school closures, and other pandemic related issues.

Due to those issues, I am seeing 3rd and 4th graders that need early reading instruction to help them find success in reading.

These decodable readers are designed with older students in mind. These books will help me focus in on targeted phonics rules and build phonemic awareness so that many of my students can start to feel confident in their reading.
