My Project

Students become readers when they have access to books they enjoy. My students love turning the pages of colorful pictures books, but they need high-quality materials so that the vocabulary is rich and the comprehension skills are challenging. Phonics skills are also needed more than ever in the elementary years. I also want my students to see books by a lot of different authors so they can have great models for their own writing. I can't wait to share Dinosaur Lady and The Dr. with an Eye for Eyes in my library for kids to choose from!
