This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are growing our STEM program for our youngest students in Pre-K and Kindergarten. We want to give them tools to learn to create, problem solve, design, and collaborate. The LEGO STEAM Park Kits provide our students with the larger and easier to utilize duplo bricks.
With these bricks they will be challenged to create different playground and theme park style rides as they explore motion, engineering, gears, measurements and much more.
Our youngest engineers will begin to develop their engineering brains through the fun and collaborative activities. These kits will be used by multiple classes and for multiple years so get to impact many students.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
