This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We learned so much during our science time, especially our plant unit. Students are excited to plant their own flower to take home and start planting vegetable for our school garden and to be able to grow some at home too.
My goal for this project is for my students to learn the life cycle of a plant, and see the process hands on with the intention of continuing to garden at home or school.
My students are so curious, and they make teaching fun and exciting.They are eager to try new things and I know they'll be excited to plant their own flowers and vegetables.
I am asking for seeds, soil, planting gloves, hand held shovels, and plastic pots so my students have everything they need to begin a small garden / add to our empty one.
