This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love working in our school garden, however, so many students want to work in the garden that we need more space. This is a wonderful problem to have, and one that this grant will help solve.

We are requesting pellet seed starters, potting soil and garden trowels so that we can increase the size of our garden, which will make it more accessible to students.

Increasing the size of our garden will allow us to produce a larger harvest, and allow more students to participate in the wonderful world of gardening.
